Shatter Text, Trying new techniques out of college time.

Trying new techniques, with adobe photoshop the text has been created using cinema 4d which i have been learning for around 2-3 months now, screen shot below, however using the pen tool on the 3D text i have created an obscure shape holding right click make selection and then 0 radios and zero buy hold crtl+ X i have cut the the layer and hlding ctrl+ Z pasted it slightly moved the text, to create abstract shatter. Using a High res glass shatter linear dodge, to overlay the image.
