Illustration Friday

Illustration Friday

Introduced to Illustration Friday on the 4/10/2011 This page is to document and show my submissions for "Illustration Friday."

"Vanity"
This Image was created using A4 Landscape Page on PS, Using a single word and  really effective white and purple allowed the "V" To stand out in contrast to the white.

"Silence"
This weeks IF was inspired by Dr Who The Silence or Silent. Was created using HB Pencil and used finger shading for individual areas. This word was difficult as I had no ideas. Trying to improve my pencil drawing.

"Stripes"
May Re-Upload as the font is Ugly, due to having a new computer I do have Fonts.
This was created using lots of layers, and optical flares hue and saturation to change the colours to blue.

"Scary"
The edge's are a little rushed but i have used layers overlays, liner burn and the brush tool all combined to create and image which looks similar to a zombie.
This was created by merging layers on to myself and the eraser tool and opacity
"Scattered"

I did two images for this word, one photoshop and C4D, one drawn and the coloured using Photoshop.

"Contraption"
This was hard to think of in image to create however watching the SAW series gave me the inspiration to create this image of the "Reverse Bear Trap."

First Using Pencil to create the basic image, then outlining and adding further detail with the graphic pen 0.5, using the finger shading technique to create the face marks.
Outcome was okay, it was a but rushed but thats my own fault.

"Hibernate"

"Hibernate" Using various methods to create this image/illustration. Basic steps to have the final Image,Using Adobe Illustrator trace the images ( the bear ) and add a basic brown outline to define the figure. Move the image into Photoshop to add a A4 Background on touch up any unnecessary brown outline. Find the correct font print and cut out using a craft knife/scalpel (Very fiddly.)  Mount the image on A4 Card, test spray on a smaller A6 Image to have a understanding of were to position the stencil. Finally spray the stencil onto the image and try a get a drip dry effect.
