Alexander Gelman

Alex Gelman is am American contemporary modern day graphic designer, he creates simplistic prints and designs which look very strong, they stand out and he use's contrasting colours which makes him  unique designer.

He is the president and founding manager, Design machine one of the leading brands in the NYC for design related work.

Following this great achievement, he also is the president  of the U.S chapter of Alliance Graphique Internationale also known as the AGI.

His work is recognisable from him simple contrasting designs, and he use of 8Bit style, complicating with he outstanding use of bright colour which reminds me of pop art in a way.

His work has been seen buy millions of people as he has worked for some high end companies such has:

Nickelodeon, Pepsi, Apple, Disney, and MTV there is many more as his work has been seen in such countries as: America, Japan, Germany, Italy and France.

Some of his work can be seen in the permeant location, The Museum of modern art located in New York.

This has earned him to pick up some of the best awards in the world for design such as: ID Annual Design, British Design & Art dedication, a numerous more.

I really like his work because if the 8bit style, and his use or colour he reminds me of olly moss style, who i refer to allot as he is one of my favourite designers in the 21st century, further more I am going to research Gelman more, his style is very inspiring, and he awards makes him a very inspiring character.

one of the "world's most famous modern and contemporary artists
in all media."
